Comet laughed at Balloon's skinny arms and quiet personality. He played many tricks on Balloon, the worst being putting helium in his balloon tail. Balloon had to forever hang on to whatever his upside-down body could find. Everybody laughed and laughed. After a year of holding rocks so that he wouldn't float away, someone was finally nice to him. Citris, an inventor, did something much better than just letting out the helium. She made him boots. These boots were the exact weight as the force of the helium, so they weighed him down a bit, but he still wasn't on the ground- he was hovering! The balloon pulling up and the boots pulling down at the same rate made him hover in mid-air! After a bit of fiddling with the boots, Citris made him hover two inches off the ground. She showed Balloon how to push off the ground so that he would fly forward! Balloon rides the air like one would ride a scooter, pushing himself along. He now was much faster than he'd ever run in his life. He and Citris became best friends. Comet was still annoying, but Balloon figured that he didn't need Comet to like him. Balloon was just happy with his newfound friend; the only one who had ever been kind to him. 》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》
