This is my entry for my bestie @geijutsu's contest! I'm cutting it really close and I have a whole bunch of homework that I'm putting off, but here you go! I decided to draw a piece inspired by Lemon Boy by Cavetown. I thought it was a really cool concept :D I don't think I chose the best composition, but anyway xDD. The song connects to this art piece because I just drew a simple interaction between the two characters in the song. The narrator/vocalist idk is watering the "Lemon Boy" who is growing under the ground like roots. That's what the brown blob is supposed to represent, I don't know if it really comes across that way xD Anyway, I how that this inspires you to make some art and that you enjoy it :D You can press space or click the screen to get rid of the little lyrics thing and bring it back.
