OH HEY ANIMATION MEME REDO? FROM THE DEPTHS OF 2018 AND HORRIBLE OLD CODING FROM MY FORMER SELF? AND FEATURING THE...2018 GANG??!? WOOAAAHH 2018 gang 2018 gang 2018 gang brr But this time, instead of Koloko and Greg, it's Dexa and Hindrance Looking back at the lore in 2018, the roles that these four play have been switched around...in 2018, Koloko and Greg (well, just Koloko, but er...eh) were the antagonists and Dexa and Hindrance were the good guys :/ My oh my, how the turntables... I mean, Hindrance was always the random guy on the side but...heh And about Hindrance... Hindrance lore! So, Hindrance, when he was a kid in Azura, saw some Shadow-Cats performing using their powers, and realized how much those Shadow-Cats took their magic for granted. They could have been dominating the world with the power that they had, but they just travelled around and did tricks for a few bits of money. Hindrance became obsessed with magic. He vowed that he would find a way to get magic, and when he did, he would use it to its full extent. One day, Hindrance managed to tap into Cerritulus's core magic, but it blew up in his face, giving him terrible burns, which is why he wears the mask. Over the years, he managed to half-way-tame Cerritulus's magic, and could wield it as well as any Shadow-Cat (despite slowly burning up because he's just an Azuran Altail, his body isn't designed to hold magic). But, you know what happens to people when they get power? They want MORE. Hindrance, in an attempt to get more power, sought after points on the planet with a higher connection to the magical core. He knew that the Cryo-Cats have a massive database that most likely has those answers. He also knew that Dexa was trying to take the Cryo-Cat crown, and dropped in one day and was like "yo can I help you take over the Cryo-Kingdom I need to access the supercomputer and you'll probably want stuff from me in return", and Dexa was like "lmao sure". And then they became friends :) I had so much fun with the effects on this :) I chose yellow specifically because it's a colour that symbolizes caution and is on most warning signs :) Which suits the meme very well Hindrance's name isn't even Hindrance lol He chose that name for himself because he saw himself as a hindrance to the magical field, a blip in the radar, so to speak.
