TITLE SEQUENCE SONG: (This means that it’s the theme song and opening animation) The sound: FOR THEME SONG is playing the theme song is " We Are Warriors " . Show Rusty walking past Bluestar, Graypaw, and Smudge. Tigerclaw swoops in, and the StarClan symbol shows. Then the ShadowClan, RiverClan, ThunderClan, and WindClan symbols show beneath it for about one second. After that, they disappear. A bird swoops past, covering the screen, and then all you see is the SkyClan symbol. After 1 second, the SkyClan symbol explodes into fire, and all you see is Rusty and TigerClaw. The screen flashes white 2 times, and then it stays white. The words “Into the wild” appear, and then it fades into INTRO. INTRO: Song stops. Ravenpaw is hiding in a bush. There is blood on the ground. Show a close-up of Ravenpaw’s eyes, where there is a reflection of Tigerclaw pinning down Redtail. “Goodbye, Redtail. You would have been a noble leader, but you are weak, and I shall lead this Clan right.” Tigerclaw says. Tigerclaw bites Redtail on the throat and blood spills out. Show Ravenpaw in the bush again, and step out of the bush. Tigerclaw notices Ravenpaw and lets go of Redtail. Ravenpaw runs out of view. Show the words: “INTO THE WILD” appear on the screen. Fade into SCENE 1. SCENE 1: Rusty is walking through the forest. A mouse is on the forest floor. Rusty chases it around a tree. Rusty pins the mouse under his paws. The sound of kibble falling plays, and Rusty’s ears and tail go up. He lifts his paw, and the mouse runs away. Then show Rusty in his cat-bed, with a food-bowl next to him, in a twoleg nest, with his eyes closed. The sound of kibble is still playing, and a human hand is holding a bag of kibble over the bowl. Rusty’s eyes open and he sniffs the kibble. The twoleg hand disappears. Rusty sneezes and then walks out of view. Then show Rusty slipping out through a cat door, into the garden with a fence. Rusty hops onto the fence. Show Rusty on the fence, but the garden is out of view. Smudge walks on the fence over to him and sits down. Rusty sits down, too. “Hey, Smudge!” Rusty says. “Hi! I went near the forest today,” Smudge says.”The forest? Did you go in it?” Rusty says. “You’re crazy, Rusty. But Henry did once.” Smudge says. Show the cats from a different view. “Henry did not!” Rusty says. “He did so.” Smudge says. “Well, I can’t believe it. Ever since he went to the vet, he’s been as active as a newborn kit.” Rusty says. Show Smudge, without Rusty in view. “He did so. He caught a chaffinch. He says there’s forest cats. Maybe it was before the vet.” Smudge says. Show Rusty and Smudge on the fence, both in view again. Rusty rolls his eyes. “Forest cats! That’s silly. If you won’t go, then I will.” Rusty says. Rusty hops down from the fence. “Rusty, stay there. I’ll help you back up.” Smudge says. “I’ll be back, Smudge. I’m just going to go-” Rusty says. Smudge looks angry. “You’re gonna do what, Rusty? Get eaten by those wild cats? Gem died last week from a them.” Smudge says. “I know you’re trying to protect me, Smudge.” Rusty says. The view changes to the back of Rusty’s head, with Smudge and the fence in the background. “...But I have to do this.” Rusty says. Then show Smudge up on the fence, with Rusty out of view. Smudge turns away and leaps back into the garden. Fade into SCENE 2.
SCENE 2: Rusty is walking through the forest. A key board mouse scurries near a tree. Rusty chases it, and a Graypaw walks over. Graypaw chases Rusty. Show Rusty notice Graypaw. The key board mouse scurries away. Show Graypaw chasing Rusty again. “ What are you doing here!?” says Graypaw. Rusty stops running and turns to face Graypaw. “Hunting.” Rusty says. “Well, not here, anymore.” Graypaw says, and he bares his teeth. Rusty lunges at Graypaw, and Graypaw swipes Rusty’s belly with his claws. Rusty bites on Graypaw’s neck. Graypaw lunges at Rusty, and Rusty dodges. Graypaw hits the ground, and Rusty leaps over and pins Graypaw down. Graypaw twists his head around at Rusty. “Nice, for a kittypet.” Graypaw says. Rusty takes his paw off Graypaw and tilts his head. “Kittypet?” Rusty says. “Yeah. You live with Twolegs.” Graypaw says. Graypaw gets up. “Oh, you mean Housefolk. Don’t you?” Rusty says. Show them from a different view. " You could join me as a kitty pet if you want you just have too-" Rusty says but is cut off by GrayPaw. “No way! I’m from ThunderClan, one of four Clans. We have warriors here. Warriors know how to fight and hunt.” Graypaw says. “So, you’re a warrior then?” Rusty says. “No. Did you think I was? I’m training to be a warrior, so I’m an apprentice. I had to wait six whole moons to even begin warrior training. What are you doing here?” Graypaw says. Rusty bares his teeth. “None of your business. If you’re the most dangerous thing in the forest, I can fight anything!” Rusty says. Graypaw sighs. “Look, kittypet…” Graypaw says. “Rusty.” Rusty says. “Rusty, then. I’m far from the most dangerous, so you should leave. Never come back.” Graypaw says. Graypaw’s face turns from annoyed to worried. He crouches down. “Leave! Now!” Graypaw says. “What? This isn’t-” Rusty says. Two cats, Bluestar and Lionheart, come into view. They look mad. Rusty crouches down. “Who’s that?” he says (whispers). “Bluestar is the leader of ThunderClan! And that’s Lionheart. He’s a warrior.” Graypaw says (whispers). “Graypaw, why have you not chased this kittypet away?” Lionheart says. “I was! I-” Graypaw says. “We saw the whole thing. Now, Rusty, you fight well for a kittypet.” Bluestar says. Rusty stands tall again. “Thank you.” Rusty says. “But, Graypaw, you deserve punishment.” Lionheart says. Lionheart takes a step toward Graypaw and Rusty. “And kittypet, you have to leave.” Lionheart says. Bluestar leaps in front of Lionheart and turns toward him. “Nonsense! I will deal with them. You are not a deputy, nor a leader. I shall decide.” Bluestar says. Lionheart dips his head. “I’m sorry, Bluestar.” Lionheart says. Bluestar turns to Rusty and Graypaw. “So, Rusty, I plead: will you join ThunderClan?” Bluestar says. Show a close-up on Graypaw’s face, he looks shocked. Then show Lionheart, angry with teeth bared. “Bluestar! We can’t take such a soft kittypet as a warrior.” Lionheart says. Show all four cats again, but at a different view. “He shall be an apprentice, Lionheart. He will train with Graypaw. If, Rusty, you accept?” Bluestar says. “I’ll…” Rusty says. Show a close-up on Rusty’s face. An image of fire appears in his eyes.Go back to all four cats, same view. “I’ll think about it.” Rusty says. “Good. Rusty, you will meet Lionheart here at Sunhigh. Go home and think about it.” Bluestar says. Lionheart take a step toward Rusty. Lionheart bows his head. “Good luck. And make a wise decision, Rusty. It is hard in the Clans.” Lionheart says. Rusty walks out of view. “But, but, Bluestar! Rusty has no warrior blood.” Graypaw says. “Warrior blood. We have spilled too much of that lately.” Bluestar says. Fade into SCENE 3. SCENE 3: Rusty and Smudge are back on the fence. The sun is setting. “So, Rusty, how was it?” Smudge says. “I met the forest cats.” Rusty says. Smudge turns toward Rusty, standing up. “Wow! So they are real. Did you fight them? Did they fight you?” Smudge says. “Not exactly. They invited me to join their Clan.” Rusty says. Smudge snorts. “Why would they do that?” Smudge says. Rusty stands up, too. “Because I fought well. I have to make my decision tonight.” Rusty says. “That soon?” Smudge says. They both sit down again. “But why would you want to leave? You have shelter and food here.” Smudge says. Show them from a different view, a back view, where you see the back of them. The sunset is even more beautiful. “Because… don’t you ever want to be free?” Rusty says. “I’ll miss you, Rusty.” Smudge says. “I’ll miss you too, Smudge.” Rusty says. They touch noses, and the screen goes black. Then the credits start. You can design the credits. The sound “FOR CREDITS” is playing the song is " Run Wild " . ALL SOUNDS IN PROJECT.
