This is the first maze game made by me. Play as a cat (the one viewed from above, not the regular Scratch Cat) & get the clownfish that appear in a random spot in the maze each time you start playing & after you touch one. Avoid the evil beetles & the ghosts or else you'll get a game over! Touching a clownfish will give you 10 points. Your current score & your high score are recorded on the top corners of your screen. The controls are the arrow keys.
This game is based on Cheese Chase, which is the maze game with instructions in my Coding Games in Scratch book. I decided to put my own spin on it & replaced the mouse with the cat sprite that's viewed from above. I also replaced the cheese with clownfish. There's no salmon sprite in Scratch (all of their fish sprites are reef fish), so I just had to do a clownfish. I chose that not only because of that, but also because clownfish are cute.
