Make the ball appear to go into the net. Duplicate the Basketball court backdrop. In the Backdrops Editor (under the Backdrops tab) delete every element of the 'Backdrop sprite) except the net and the rim of the basket. Change the net rim colour to black as its original orange colour is the same as the basketball. Copy the net and paste it as a new sprite. Send it to the front.
Some backdrops are now SVG vectors. You can break apart an SVG backdrop to make a new sprite (example, the basket). You can then use the new sprite with the layers block for extra effect.
