= = NOTES = = HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hoping the next year will be better, heh. And what could possibly be better than a revised AI for a sungod who likes toothbrushing on New Year? This fight has two phases (or technically three I guess). I basically got all original three phases and combined them into one. Also, I used NES sound effects because this project was originally in NES-style, but I changed it to Gameboy-style after I finished the AI for funsies. That's also why there's 28 health points instead of the Gameboy's 19 health points. = = AI EXPLANATION = = - Pre-fight / First Phase - He first chooses from three attacks: -Sunstar shoots 3 fire waves. -Sunstar shoots a flame that crawls along the floor and rises when it reaches the player. -Sunstar turns into a ball and charges to the other side, slightly raises up and charges back, then slightly lowers until he reaches the ground. Then, Sunstar *menacingly* walks to the other side. Repeat. - Actual Fight / Second Phase - He chooses from these attacks: -Sunstar shoots 3 crawling and rising fires. -Sunstar shoots 3 fire waves on the ground, jumps, shoots another fire wave at the peak of the jump, shoots another fire wave on the ground. -Sunstar charges up and shoots a laser. -Sunstar shoots 4 star thingies that bounce in random heights. -Sunstar shoots 3 fires that fly up and fall down. Then he chooses from these other attacks that allows him to get to the other side: -Sunstar does 4 jumps to the other side. -Sunstar turns into a ball and charges to the other side, slightly raises up and charges back, then slightly lowers and charges again. -Sunstar does some jogging in place, then runs to the other side. -Sunstar jumps and shoots a fire that creates two fire shockwaves when it hits the ground. He then does 2 jumps to the other side. -Sunstar jumps and decides to be a Toad Man wannabe by charging up and releasing a destructive rain before falling back down to the ground. This can be stopped by shooting him. After that, he jumps to the other side. All of these attacks are done in a random order, and an attack cannot be repeated until a cycle finishes. When he reaches half health, most of his attacks become more powerful. -For the laser attack, after he shoots a laser on the ground, he jumps and shoots a laser in the air. -For the star thingy attack, he shoots 2 stars and jumps to the other side, then shoots 2 stars. He then jumps back to the other side. -For the three fires that fly up and fall down, he shoots 3 fires that fly up and release a rain of fire. -For the 4 jumps, he does 2 jumps instead. -For the rolling attack, he rolls around twice as much. -For the running attack, his jogging time is halved. -For the fire and fire shockwave attack, he shoots 3 fires.
