I've been saving the data for the 4000 most followed scratch accounts each week of this year (almost - some of the data had to be removed due to issues). This project allows you to view this data in a convenient interface. Using the project: Choose the time range of the lists you want to compare or when you want to graph at the bottom of the screen. Sort the list by one of the four attributes clicking the titles at the top. Add (and remove) users to the graph with the checkboxes on the list, and remove them by clicking names on the key above the graph. Mobile compatibility: If you do not have a physical keyboard to type into the search box, tap the keyboard icon to open the default input box, which should activate your on-screen keyboard.
I don't want people to overly focus on their followers or compare themselves to others as a result of this project, or in general. I just want to continue saving the history of the scratch community and thought this would be a fun project to work on. I could have saved more data more frequently, and I'm sure others have better ways of saving and accessing this data, but I still think I did a good job at saving this point in scratch history and making the data accessible to average users. Credits: This project wouldn't be possible without the most followed lists themselves. I originally got the data from ScratchStats, by @World_Languages, and later from ScratchDB, by @DatOneLefty. I think they both contributed to the scratch user rankings, so I will thank both of them as this project wouldn't be possible without it. Updates: Jan 25, 2021 Added a comment indicating that most of the project code is in the second sprite due to repeated confused comments from remixers. Jan 31, 2021 Fixed a bug where an entry containing and matching the search term showed up twice.
