It reminds me of being ditched in homecoming. He asked me I said yes, then finding out he isn't coming. I literally cried at homecoming. It was my first too. Years later found out I was a joke to him. He never wanted to ask me. When I got home I cried for a long time. It hurt me how he thought I was a joke. But hey it's better with your friends anyway. :) Sorry to make it sad, but that is what the meme reminded me of.
