I made a hyena oc, this is not a furry, or an anthro (well kind of), but he does have a humanlike personality, emotions, and set of thoughts. Meet Alan, as you can see he is a spotted hyena. He was born into a low ranking in his birth clan. However, his father was known across the clan as an amazing hunter, even taking on buffalo with only one other accomplice at most. It was him who taught young Alan how to hunt, and the art of combat, so when it was time for him to leave he would have a leg up over the other immigrant males. He left his clan in search of a new, faraway, foreign land. There, he was met with suspicion, just like all other immigrants and foreigners. But as the clan sent enforcers to subdue him, Alan was the one coming out victorious. The matriarch, Delilah, fearing that he would lead some kind of a revolt, begrudgingly let him in. At first Delilah and the other high ranking members were rather frosty at best, except for two individuals, Natti (Delilah's older daughter) and Roofus. Roofus (being born into a high ranking, and was allowed to stay since there were available resources) and Natti were able to prevent the abuse of Alan, and somehow convince Natti's mom to lighten up on the newcomer. Delilah was still unfriendly at best, until Alan saved her from a crocodile attack, and Delilah (impressed by both his combat and hunting skills) made him into an enforcer as a reward of his act of kindness. The clan's situation remained peachy and in their favour, for now...
