ALL OF Y'ALL BUCKAROOS ARE AWESOME AND I HOPE Y'ALL HAVE A HECKIN' JOLLY TIME NOW AND FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIVESSS YEEHAW So, now that that's over with.. I'd like to say the exact same thing, except specifically to Comlet this time, since she was the person I made this present for. Merry Christmas! Yeah, this is the only art I did (it functions as an icon AAND pretty shaded p00l-style Christmas art!) since I've been pretty busy, but I also made you -- drumroll please -- a Pokemon competitive VGC team based off of your epic OC bean kiddos! (VGC is one of the "tiers" I was telling you about, but it's different than OU and Ubers.) I'll teach you how to use it later. You can view it at https://pokepast.es/b4fdc276c8adc1e4. Also.. sorry about the design changes. You said he was a NightWing, and that got my brain a little excited, you see. So I NightWingified him. Hopefully you don't mind. (The expression WAS supposed to be "nervous-ish," by the way, but it came out looking more smug.. I should have made the eyebrows more prominent.) Click the art or press space to see the sketches and version checkpoints I did! 1. The finished version (showing by default). 2. The base sketch.. oh my. This is what I do for all of my art. And it always looks as bad as this. But I guess I can understand it, at least.. it helps me get the poses down and stuff, after all. 3. This is kind of the "prototype lineart." I do this for all of my art too. (I MEANT to put the Santa hat in there, and I tried in later stages, but.. it wasn't meant to be.) 4. Now it's getting started! Base lineart, let's go! 5. COLOR! YAY! Also, can I just say how much I love his design? You did a great job on it, Comlet, it's honestly beautiful. (Although I did change it a little for the NightWingness.) 6. Okay, NOW it looks a lot better. I added a Christmas tree (gosh dang it you have no idea how hard they are to draw) and lighting from that Christmas tree, along with a window in the background. Pretty cool, eh? 7. Back to the final piece - look at how much more radiant it looks! I also added the wing whites, by the way, since I forgot to do that initially - though I made them more splotchy and smaller than the ones on your reference sheet so they wouldn't be too prominent on your icon (which will be viewed at a much smaller size than shown here, so the contrast of the white would take away from the main star, Cometflight himself.) I also added two signatures, one for me and one for you. The final icon can be seen in the project, but it alone without anything else can be seen at https://ibb.co/TwPHt03 !
