Hey guys!!! Welcome to my first album! It's a cover album because I don't really write songs that often lol(although I will admit, I'm working on one right now!). For a quick backstory, every year I make my grandpa a Christmas album, and this is this years!!! Funny story(ok, it's not funny, it's just aggravating): This was originally supposed to have 6 songs, but my recording equipment(in true 2020 fashion) decided to BREAK after FOUR MONTHS of use, so let's take a second to mourn the loss of Feliz Navidad and Jingle Bell Rock. Perhaps I will release them after my recording equipment is fixed after Christmas, and you will just get Christmas covers in March. For the name: I never name the albums after normal things, and it's always a joke. So because it's 2020, and I don't know what's happening, it has been called "What Is Even Happening Anymore". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Songs: It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas: I only used this one because I remember in 2nd grade we sang this in Children's Choir. Or it might have been my brother. idk. Someone sang it in Children's Choir. 'Rockin Around the Christmas Tree: I just like this song. It's the only song on here that uses piano instead of ukulele. ALSO, did you know that I have a MAP that uses this song???? Makes me feel a little pathetic lol. <3 Carol of the Bells: This one was really fun! What I did was I recorded single notes, and edited them together into rhythms to make the entire song. I think it's really cool, and is certainly not an excuse for not learning the rhythms! I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas: This song is amazing. I just love it so much. It has the best plot. I would also like a hippopotamus for Christmas. Also, in reference to the second verse(Mom says the hippo would eat me up but them, teacher says hippo is a vegetarian), geez mom get your facts straight. Songs that didn't get recorded but I still have stories for: Feliz Navidad: My family celebrates Feliz Navidad instead of Christmas(They're the same thing except with Mexican food). Basically, one year my grandma got tired of making traditional Christmas food, so she made Mexican food. And here we are. Our entire theme of the holidays is Feliz Navidad, and the song just holds a really special place in my heart. Jingle Bell Rock: I HAD THIS AWESOME INTRO AND IT WAS SO COOL.
