minor blood warning on the last parts I guess? I kinda rushed the last parts because I wanted to get it done for New Year's Eve (or if you're in Australia, New Years). Gahh I didn't even draw Shoko arms and the hands on Prismane look so weirdddd and don't even get me STARTED on Arlo's expression but other than that I think I did pretty okay. Don't hate me, but I don't think 2020 was a terrible year. Yeah Covid-19 killed a lot of people (and some that I know), but my family and I survived and like I don't really like online school but I get a ton less homework, and like I don't have to socialize with as many people. I'll post a small updates project on my test soon. But whatever. Get ready for the twist no one ever saw coming. --- (Shoko's perspective, takes place right after -cut my hair-) And with that, the boy who saved my life just left it in pieces. "Y-you can't run forever!" I screamed, though I knew he wouldn't hear me. "I'll get back at you and you'll wish you were never born!" I looked down at Prismane, still unconscious and in my arms. "You- you can't be dead," I whispered desperately. "No, no- you're my only friend who actually cares about me." It felt like my heart was shattering, like the windows of a car after a crash. Wait... Crash... That's it! That's the answer! To heck with my stupid sister, Prismane needs me. "I'll be back," I whispered with confidence. "I just need to get something that might help you." ---- (Prismane's perspective, in a fake dreamscape or something) "Hey you." I slowly opened my eyes and saw a girl with short black hair with red dyed ends. "Yeah, you with the weird hair and eyes." "Hey, they may be weird but it's not my fault," I snapped back. "Oh, you don't think I know?" she asked with an annoyed tone. "I've been watching you, you and your best friend." "Are you like, a guardian angel or something? Because I don't think I deserve one of those." I said. "I'm not the best person out there." She raised an eyebrow and smiled. "That may be so," she said slowly. I was waiting for a "ohhh prismane but you're a great person and an even better friend!!!! yeah you just let your friend get experimented on for the fourth time but that's not completely your fault!!!!" but nothing happened. Then, like a scene on a movie reel, I started flashbacking. *Three years ago, on a swingset, a girl with pink hair sits, sighing. Prismane watches from the shadows, immediately in love. He knows he would do anything for her, no matter the cost* (next) *two years ago, breaking the school bus on her sister's field trip so it crashes, knowing that the pink haired girl wanted it* (next) *one year ago, telling arlo to go by a volcano and wait so he could save her life* (next) *the day before he meets the pink haired girl again, erasing his own memory so he forgets his love and his trauma, hoping it will cure him and make him feel less empty inside* that's... not me. right? I wouldn't do those terrible things. and besides, Shoko's just my friend. So this "angel" must be... "Oh look, here my idiot sister comes, saving your life despite all your doings. Well, it was nice seeing you." then the angel pushes me and I fall into real life once more. --- (third person perspective, prismane's empty dream thing) Yuzuru chuckled a little. "Shoko, you may be an idiot, but you're the best idiot a dead sister could ask for." disappearing into the clouds, Yuzuru hoped Prismane had a happier life. "I hope I see you again..." she said to the prismane that wasn't there.
