Remind me to never put so much love and effort into a DTA again- space for a few extra drawings and then left to right for more Ok so, lemme explain myself I typically really dislike DTAs because of all the owning rights from it. I am obsessed in making original art from my mind, so this was a bit hard. But when I saw this little deer friend, I just had to do this I may have went overboard in making an entire soundtrack for the fella along with several pieces of art, traditional and digital, but I like going overboard, win win! I have proof of owning the song, so just ask! there are some terms to agree to if I lose for the new owner. -the tongue friend, and heart head gimmick is mine -the song is mine and will be used for another character eventually -enjoy your new friend! it was an honor competing with you I also have a few questions regarding if I win, actually Do you still partially own the concept? are there rules as to what I can and can't do with this oc (including unfriendly drawings)? if so, please let me know Name: Ahlugo She/her/they/them She typically spends most of her days walking in forests, mountains, and tundras. She sees any intruder as a threat to her goal and will stand her ground. The unlucky ones will be taken and used for her own purposes. She is broody and will attack most trespassers from her recently gained knowledge that they are at fault for the loss of her species. The only way she will spare your life is if you look and act like a deer, fooling her good nature, as she refuses to attack any hooved herbivores. and now, some spicy lore! Thousands of years ago, A Megaloceros, known as an Irish elk, lived in a small herd. They spent their days roaming the mountainside, feasting on what little vegetation grew. It wasn't easy, but they were used to it. During their travels, the herd had to pass a perilous mountain range. The wind bit at their ears and noses, even the tough males were shivering. The elk tripped on a rock and injured her hoof. A few elks in front of the herd turned back to the elk, and suddenly, the mountain appeared to give way and an avalanche started. The herd bounded up the side of the mountain pass, yet the injured elk was unable to follow quickly enough. The snow swept over her and carried her far away. Eventually, the elk thawed, preserved in the snow. It stumbled to its feet, shaking off permafrost and opening its eyes. it felt strange and odd, taller, lighter, yet sporting massive horns. It began to trudge up the mountain when it seemed to trip on something. It looked down, and there was the body of an elk. Her body. She stared at the frozen mass, terrified of the familiar scent only she had. She lifted her head up and cried out, and the noise boomed from her stomach, nearly sending her off balance. She shook it off, and decided the only thing to do was find her herd. Weeks passed and she finally sound her herd, grazing on a wilted patch of grass that survived through the icy torrent of the ice age. She cried out in joy and bounded towards her herd, waiting to be reunited. The elks snorted in fear, stamping their hooves as a warning. They didn't recognize her, and she froze. She tried to reassure them, but then the males began charging. Not knowing what to do, she closed her eyes and lowered her massive horns. She was so tall and strong they could barely compete as she shook them off one by one. The eldest elk cried out and the herd ran at breakneck speed, leaving her alone. She began to cry, as her own family thought of her as a stranger, and followed. The elk were on a treacherous cliffside, making their way past the crumbling rocks. They soon saw the monstrous elk and began to panic, hurrying up the mountainside faster. The elk could not lose her family, and bounded up to them, she leapt up to them, squeaking to them in hopes of recognition, but the elder elk reared on her and headbutted her off, she scrambled to hold onto the crumbling rocks, and for a moment, she looked just like the one they lost, as they realized it was her all along, they bounded to the edge of the cliff to help her up, but the rock broke away, and she fell down. Years passed, and the warmth of the earth melted her free from her icy grave once again. She looked around for her family, but there was no one there. To this day, she searches the land for her family, in hopes of meeting up with the ones she lost once again.
