Here are my alley cats, Slasher and Jingle! (Slasher was named 'stripes' when he was born, but renamed himself 'Slasher', partially to mock Dasher, the king.) Here's a really short summary of the story: Jingle would always bully Stripes for having only one bell, while Jingle had six. This really upset Stripes, because he didn't realise that Jingle was just jealous that Stripes got to help guide the front of the sleigh with his glowing eyes. Jingle was an incredibly well behaved alley cat, while Stripes was more rebellious, so Jingle was one of Santa's favorites. Stripes was really jealous and upset that such a cruel alley cat got to be a favorite, and one day, Jingle attacked Stripes. Stripes sliced out Jingles throat in self defense. Jingle was given instant medical help, as he was one of the favorites and nobody wanted him to die, but Stripes was left bleeding out on the snow, having multiple scratches on his body from Jingle. He was yelled at and left to die- Jingle had told everyone that STRIPES was the first to attack, and STRIPES was the bad one. Stripes was furious, and in the morning, he gained the strength to run away. He ran to an alleyway in the human world, and now kills anyone he sees, out of pure rage. He renamed himself Slasher, as a mockery of the king of Alley Cats. The humans have tried to kill him, but cannot keep up with the alley cat's speed. If you meet eyes with him, you know you're going to die.
