lol i decided to use marvel for this because i don't actually have any ocs or even any other fandoms at this point. there is only m̷̖̘͈͑̽ͅ ạ̴̌̊͂̃ r̶͎͚͕̈̀̀̈̎ͅͅ v̷͈̺̀̈͛ͅ ȅ̶̡̿̊ l̷̛̬̻̜̃͛͐͌ and of course i decided to use the storyline from the winter soldier because the winter soldier, duh. also i absolutely hate alexander pierce <3 IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, GO SEE IT NOW or well actually you need to watch it in context, so first watch captain america: the first avenger heck, while you're there, why don't you just watch the entire mcu? THEN we can talk. (it is pg-13 for a reason though, please watch responsibly-) lol sorry chaoticgremlin (ugh it feels weird saying your entire user- sorry, i'm a nickname person-) this probably isn't entirely what you had in mind when you created a villain map- yeahhhh pierce is more of a political villain, i know you were probably looking more for the kind of villain who beats people up and stuff heh and i mean i c o u l d ' v e used the winter soldier as the central villain to this part, but it's not like he actually had a choice *cough* besides, the lyrics much more matched pierce's and hydra's ideology anyway lol speaking of hydra- the way i drew the hydra logo was actually by tracing the actual logo (shush it's difficult okay, sue me) but anyway that's not the point i'm trying to make right now, what i'm trying to say is while i was drawing the logo my sister walked past and noticed it and shouted "HAIL HYDRA" then walked away and honestly i'm simultaneously so proud and so disgusted in her- yeah good times um i'm actually like really proud of this- and bACKGROUNDS- I ACTUALLY D I D SOME AND I DON'T PARTICULARLY HATE THEM and i drew p e o p l e like, r e c o g n i z a b l y i'm seriously proud- oh speaking of people- or rather, characters it's probably best that i actually list them lol- (for those of you who don't know already) 1- alexander pierce 2- nick fury 3- steve rogers 4- natasha romanoff 5- the winter soldier ugh screw being an evil nazi scientist who experimented on war prisoners and helped torture my favorite character for decades, zola's true crime was existing and making me dRaW him as a stupid cOMpUTEr fACE i cANNOT T E L L YOU how H O R R I BL E it was to animate his stUPID LITTLE COMPUTER FACE UGH a n y w a y i know i always make really long descriptions, and this is no exception lol well obviously as the title says, (and as you've probably already seen in the video) i've decided to include my storyboard in this! storyboards, for me, are just a really rough concept of what i'm going to do-- just getting the ideas down. as you can tell, there was a lot that i changed between the storyboard and the final animation. as i said, what i do is get my ideas down first- i don't worry about anatomy or visuals or flow just yet. after the storyboard i do secondary sketches, where i actually do start taking into account the things i said before. this would be when i redraw things for better balance, change perspectives... a lot of the time i'll use only a piece of my initial sketch and then adapt the rest to better fit what i have in mind. after you watch the animation and the storyboard, then you can press space to go through and see my process on one part of the piece. first, the sketch-- again, a really rough idea. i knew i wanted it to be steve and nat in the bunker, but that was about the extent of my idea. all i did was sketch out the basic poses and scene- i didn't have to check anatomy, balance, and i didn't even reference the actual movie for what the generator and screens looked like then, secondary sketch-- this is where i get everything ready for lineart. i fixed the balance/anatomy of the poses, since i have a habit of accidentally making people look like they're leaning forward. also, i took this opportunity to make steve's body type more identifiable- hence the dorito shape in red huehuehue >:3 then finished! i line everything 95% exactly how it looks in the sketch, add colors, sometimes background depending on the situation, and voila! also after you watch the whole thing, you can press the "a" key to watch just the animation, or the "s" key to watch just the storyboard :) anyway thanks to those of you who stuck around long enough to read all this, i hope you learned something somewhere along the way, or at least got a laugh ^^ this description is running really long, so i'll just end it here uwu credits: art- moi, of course music- whatcha gonna do now? by keith green all characters belong to marvel obsession belongs to m e
