So, they named themselves. Bert heard the name "Bert" being said by someone walking down the street and thought it sounded good enough for a name. Boss thought the name "Boss" would command respect, although originally her name was actually Tiny. It was the name she was given by her parents and she remembered it, though not what it was from. She changed the name when she got taller than Bert though. definitely don't look closely at this!
