Except all he could see was- a glowing white color. Confused, he reached out his paw to touch what he had been seeing and ended up swiping empty air. His ear twitched as he heard paw steps- he looked up. The glowing white stuff covered his view. A few moments later he heard a scream. He felt being thrown out of something and hitting the ground.
