Snowy Catradora (that's catra in the hoodie but it's hard to tell-- i promise you she's in there) goodness gravy i love this ship, one of the best love stories i've ever seen and I JUST LOVE SHE-RA IT'S SUCH A GOOD SHOW GO WATCH IT AAAAAHHH 2. Cozy Entrapdak however much i absolutely love catradora i honestly think that entrapdak is my favorite she-ra ship because of their unique dynamic and interactions and chemistry and really everything about them 3. Howl, Sophie, Markl and Calcifer exchanging gifts have i mentioned that i'm a die-hard ghibli addict?? i don't think i've brought it up enough. ghibli RAISED ME-- my favorites are castle in the sky, princess mononoke and grave of the fireflies but i still love howl's moving castle!! 4. Sledding Kataang ok, i tried to keep this year's batch of sketches limited to only characters/ships i learned about this year (although that obviously failed). at first i liked kataang, but i expected katara and zuko to get together, because in everything i've seen, the "attractive" or "hot" characters always have to end up together. so i was really pleasantly surprised when (spoiler alert) kataang became an endgame ship! although i was just alright with it at first, the more i thought about it and rewatched the show, the more i grew to love it, and now it's easily one of my favorite ships ever. that's something i may get into later on. also i tried to draw them penguin sledding at first instead... it didn't work 5. Shane and Jas decorating their tree (not a ship) (I'M ONLY JUST BEGINNING MY SECOND YEAR IN STARDEW, SO NO SPOILERS) i fell in love with stardew valley a few months ago, and now i'm kind of obsessed lol. my best friends are elliott, harvey and leah, and i have a HUGE crush on shane, who i'm planning to ask out soon! i drew him and jas because i LOVE their adorable, almost father-daughter relationship and try to visit both of them at every opportunity-- i really like to imagine them decorating a tree together! 6-7. a little mini comic that i drew as a follow up to the shane and jas one-- i'm sorry i had to 8. Connverse meeting Rudolph I CAN'T DRAW REINDEER HOLY CRAP anyway i don't like this one very much, steven looks like he's teetering on the brink of insanity (and don't say he is because this isn't future steven, this is 13-14-year-old steven). connie looks cute tho. connverse is absolutely one of my favorite straight ships ever, i mean how can you not love them?? gosh i miss steven universe so mUCH 9. Fone Bone's quiche (not a ship) so i read bone last year and absolutely LOVED every second of it, but i didn't get to draw much from it because i had to return the books to the library and it was hard to find solid refs for the characters. however, during quarantine, my parents were cleaning out their room and they found the complete bone collection! so of course i re-read it and fell in love with it all over again. this sketch is inspired by the holiday special! (and yes, i do ship fone bone and thorn. don't @ me) 10. Korrasami building a snowman so of course after i watched avatar i watched korra. i already knew that korra and asami ended up together because the internet exists, and i already liked the ship, but HOLY MOLY did i love them so much while watching the show. i'm not a love triangle person, and i thought the one in korra was super annoying at first. but OH BOY did it end perfectly. i always love the friends/best friends to lovers trope... and mako's girlfriends dating each other was just perfect 11. Thomliza under the mistletoe...? so of course, you probably know by now that JOAL has been rebooted! although i liked thomas x eliza in the original i LOVE where it's going so far in the reboot, especially with everyone's ideas. their dynamic is a little different this time, but of course, their friends are still there to watch the story unfold and also be really obnoxious about it!! (i wanted to draw something with the rest of the characters too, but after i finished this one i started getting overwhelmed by finals stuff. i promise if i end up doing that i'll post it!!)
