Instructions

Halle Frowell (Pronounced like Ally but with an H) ll 13 || Female ll 12 ll Halle is a small, muscular she-cat with thick, black fur. She has a few white splotches on her left eye, chest, and two white socks on her back paws. She has milky, light blue blind eyes that never seem completely focused on anything. She also has a very fluffy tail. ll Halle is sort of a quiet and reserved cat. She prefers to do most things on her own, but she will accept help when she knows she needs it. She's pretty smart, but can also be too soft, and that can often make cats underestimate her strength, which also causes her to underestimate herself as well. Although she enjoys being on her own, what she doesn't realize is that she needs others praise to feel better about herself. She does have her moments when she feels proud of herself, though they don't happen very often. Despite seeming quite and shy, she can be fierce when you mess with her friends. ll Hiding, disguise, sneak attacks *though she doesn't like doing them because she thinks it isn't fair to whoever she attacks* fighting *though she doesn't like it* and running. ll Delivering ending blows, climbing, herbs and poisons, self-confidence, too much trust in others ll Straight || All dead || She is blind but since she was born with it she's never known the need for sight and has functioned just fine without sight due to her hearing and smelling being much better to make up for her lack of sight. Also i'm entering with the amazing @WillowheartWarriors who owns Jagged so it would be great if they could be put together :3

Description

So i'm not doing Alphecca for the 3rd round because i'm only doing her with Shattered, so instead i made Halle :3 I love her and i'm very excited for her! :DD Backstory (connected to Jagged's backstory): Halle had managed to scavenge a scrap of burnt and stale bread from the trash, and was currently making a small bowl of broth for her mother. She sniffed the broth, deciding it was ready. She carefully took it up to her mother, who was currently sleeping. Her eyes flickered open at the smell of the broth, and she let out a small cough as she tried to sit up. "Thanks honey, but you need to eat too. You're so young, you need your strength" she wheezed out, but Halle just pushed the bowl towards her. "...Fine. Promise me you'll find something to eat though" her mother whispered, her throat sore and her body feeling weak. "I'll try mom, but please get some rest." she sighed, deciding it would be best not to tell her mom what day was coming up. She was 12 now, and she knew exactly what that meant. Her mom nodded, and Halle padded out of the room, ready to start scavenging for food. As she walked through the town, her ears flicked, hearing two cats arguing...or were they? She padded over, hearing a smaller voice and a deeper voice. One sounded like the cat she knew as Finch. He was in her grade at school. He seemed nice enough, though he was a bit wimpy. The other voice was Jagged. A well known bully. The tall she-cat padded over without thinking, and nudged Finch aside. "Leave him alone Jagged, he's done nothing to you." she said quietly yet icily. “Halle,” Jagged snickered. “Careful on the little guy; you might trip over him.” Finch shifted uncomfortably behind them. Halle’s blind eyes narrowed. “Well you know you’ve reached a new low when you’re too pathetic to even try and mess with some cat your own age. Leave him alone, he’s done nothing to you.” she repeated, standing firmly in front of the smaller tom. The atmosphere suddenly seemed to grow tense. “I’m not the pathetic one here,” Jagged snarled, but his voice carried a hint of amusement as he said: “And I’m not the one who’s too weak and feeble to save my dying mother.” She seemed to sink down as his words sunk in, her tall height meaning nothing as she started to shake. Nearly every cat in school knew about her dying mother. They also knew better then to bring it up in front of her. She dug her claws into the ground before releasing it and dashing off, tears stung in her eyes. She felt awful for leaving Finch back there, but she couldn’t take it anymore. She completely forgot about her need for food as she ran, occasionally slowing down to wipe her blurry eyes. After that day, she knew it was better to steer away from others. They only brought you more problems. A few days later, Finch was chosen as a tribute, and his sister Kestrel volunteered as well. She had heard the commotion of Jagged attempting to apologize, and Kestrel swiping at him shortly before she volunteered. Kestrel was brave. Very brave. More then Halle could ever be. She was also so strong. Then Kestrel was eliminated while saving Finch. She was gone. Just like that. And then Finch was gone too. It was then that Halle knew she had to be strong. Like Kestrel. Her mother /would/ survive, and she’d prove to Jagged that she was more then the weak cat he’d seen before. She worked hard, and fought to keep her mother alive. Then the day came. Her mother was doing better now, and knew what day it was too. She didn’t want Halle to go, in fear that she might be chosen. Eventually she knew that Halle had to go. As they waited in anticipation, Halle could hear Jagged come up. Then she froze. “Halle Frowell!”. No. Not yet. Her mother...suddenly she was nudged forth, and she was standing up there, the crowd silent. No cat would volunteer for the quiet blind cat. She knew it. A few moments later, the male tribute was called. “I volunteer as tribute.” A voice rang out among the silence. The male tribute shakily left as Jagged took his place. Halle gave him a look of disgust, hatred bubbling up inside of her. She could do this. And she’d prove to Jagged just how strong she really was.
