"Don't worry, it's not gonna kill me!" "B-but..." Sam ran to Carlos and nuzzled his cheek. "It's probably super dangerous!" Carlos let out a little laugh. "It's just a new job, nothing crazy!" He turned to walk out the door. "I'm going to be fine. I. won't. die." He left. The moment he left, Sam burst into tears. Carlos didn't know what was coming to him. When he arrived at a building that was supposed to be the main building for the company he'd started working for, he walked around, searching for a way in. The parking lot he stood in was dark, the flickering streetlight casting a gloomy shadow across him. Then something dragged him into... somewhere. "Ah, I see you've awoken." A voice said to him. Carlos tried to look around but everything was a bit fuzzy. "Why do I see... numbers?" It wasn't fuzzy. Everything was one's and zero's. Binary Code. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME-" He broke off as a pain shot through his head. "I've done nothing but improve your being." The voice said to him. "You're now more advanced than any other creature on the planet. A pain shot through his had again. He couldn't make sense of anything, and jumped out blindly at the voice, shredding whoever had done this to him. Silence. "I-" Carlos gasped. Or was he Carlos? He couldn't make out anything but binary code everywhere. He picked his paw up and smelt a sour smell. Blood. He'd killed his... creator? No, that wasn't right. He was losing everything. His vision, his memories... Sam! The one word he could still remember, then a pain shot up through his neck and he collapsed into the puddle of blood laying at his feet. From that day on, he lived there, attacking any who came across him, wondering who that one name in his head could be... Sam. also before you ask... no Sam didn't know what was going to happen, he was just scared because he's very young at the start of the story
