To get this error, your console had to be HORRIBLY messed up, or the copy was 99.99999% p e r s o n a l i z e d.
This is the Sad Scratch cat error, like the Sad Mac error. It was first seen in the Scratch 2000 beta, but the Scratch Team got rid of it in 2002. But it was later put back in the main version in 2010, the same time the shareware screen was introduced. Other note: have no idea why it's the crosses, but it's seen in things like the Sad Mac or Playtime when you cut her jumprope in Lap's Basics in Education and Learning. (thats a baldis basics mod)
