Saplin and her wholesome stepfather, Earl :) Saplin be sab because everyone is scared of her because she's apparently half-demon (because the people of Polito are superstitious as heck and thought Willow was some kind of demon) and there are also family problems because her mother was angry because Willow left her to go and mope in a mountain and so she vented out a lot of that anger at Saplin through verbal and emotional abuse :pensive:, leaving the guy she fell in love with afterwards, Earl, to be the good parent :) Saplin was always very awkward around Earl, though, as she saw no reason for him to be nice to her and saw him as suspicious :pensive: Earl would constantly act in Saplin's best interests, losing the trust of his other daughter(the mother was Saplin's mother) who wasn't half-'forest demon'. This kind of ended up a divorce, and Saplin stayed with Earl, while her mother and half-sister moved out. Then her half-sister came back and wrecked Saplin's greenhouse, so I guess we're even for stealing her father...
