Breaking News: Penblade enters a Draw This In Your Style contest even though she doesn't actually have a consistent style to speak of! but seriously this was super fun :) I made 2 versions with slightly different shading; click or space to see. that will also show you the OG and reference by crim and vi. Scratch was not kind to the image quality though oof --PROCESS NOTES (yes they have their own section now, since I ramble a lot on these descriptions) I'm super happy with this bc I've been having a bit of a hard time getting good, saturated, colors in my drawings on Krita but (after doing the lineart and flatting on this like a couple weeks ago) I finally got back in and managed to transfer over the palette that I normally use in medibang paint and started up on it and it WORKED! :DDD LOOK OUT WORLD, PEN IS ARMED WITH KRITA'S COLOR FLATTING/SELECTION OPTIONS AND A GOOD PALETTE OF SHADING-LAYER FILLS! (not that the concept-color palette was bad, per se, everything I tried to use it on just looked washed out though.) I wasn't the most consistent on the lighting angles but I'm ok with that for now. I also experimented with the hairstyle but it doesn't look like loki's actual hair whoops but anyways. ((((ALSO: i started this before i started the unwrapped challenge ok i'm still working on that everyone i didn't give up after 2 pictures i just got ahead of myself and decided to try and draw a whole comic spread for one of them and I'm probably gonna just end up sharing what I have right now bc it's taking too long))))
