Abbreviator 29.0 is here! There are lots of changes to find between this and 28.0! If you've created any types, feel free to share them here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/468893/ Changes between this and 28.0: - There are now a total of 56 built-in types for you to use! -- Elements was added by @19f8362 in a remix of the Abbreviator 28.0 project ( https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/282369605/ ) so I added it here - An easy interface that allows you to create your own types and share them! - You can now import custom types into the Abbreviator itself! Just use any of the Import blocks. A mini version is also included without this functionality. - You can now change the power of 10 in which the abbreviation of the number will start. - If you leave any of the inputs in the Abbreviate/Separate types blank, recommended settings will be chosen for you. - If a type list is not long enough, then the type will fall back to Scientific - No Spaces list now uses type names rather than numbers - Unfortunately, several types have been renamed or removed in this version: -- Thousands, Millions, Billions and all related types have been renamed and updated, and are now part of the Simple group of types. -- "Bytes" types have been removed: You can just append "B" or "bytes" to the end of the result using a join block, or import them into the Abbreviator using the provided blocks - More fixes, including fixing a bug where setting the input number to 1e21 (1 sextillion) would show the part for 1e3 (1 thousand, 1,000) - Mar 19, 2022 update: Fixed an ATROCIOUS error that lasted over four years (somehow) where "UD" (undecillion) was repeated in both Letter abbreviation types in both sprites. This error had existed since version 24.0 from 2017!!!
