GEOMETRIC BACKGROUND GO BRRRRR so i revived adrian and miles which doesn’t sound like a big deal but theyre from 2018 and among the first few ocs i created so it kinda is new drawing program <procreate that is> means discovering and downloading way too many brushsets and going absolutely wild with it :’) please enjoy them, doing this pose cost me a lot of braincells <3 dw it was worth it

Description

protect those smiles please they’ve been through so much also ima ramble here about improving with writing n stuff so you can,, not read it if you don’t want to but uh i wanna just kinda reintroduce these two for the heck of it because last time i drew em alone was this https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/415417220/ and this https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/415250816/ and the last time i drew them together was back in JANUARY with this https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/358784780/ but besides that their stories kinda. changed < for the better though > well not really because i made their backstories a little crappy but like. in a believable way adrian was a lot more awkward when i made him and miles was less,, socially dead but now adrian's more extroverted because i imagine he's totally a theater kid LMAO and miles?? he’s smart but stoic and burned out because of some ~family stuff~ because his parents <mainly his mom hh> highkey pressured him with that said, i’m really glad i revived them because before their queerness was like THE MAIN SUBJECT OF THE PLOT LINE but now it’s just "yeah that’s a thing and it’s a little bit of an issue because miles' mom is Definitely Not Accepting but it’s not the end all be all" i also have this idea that miles genuinely enjoys some "smart people stuff" like s.t.e.m or something but whenever his family kinda puts that weight on him he just. feels like it’s an obligation rather than something he wants to do and adrian?? i wanted to give him this sense of "someone's gotta have it worse than me" because his parents and siblings are all pretty cool but sometimes he feels like they’re overprotective or that they can’t stand how he’s sometimes forgetful and unfocused which probably leads to some plot chaos but anyway THE POINT IS don’t make your queer characters’ { or characters who are part of any marginalized group } lives revolve SOLELY around their identity but still acknowledge how it can affect other people's perception of them, whether it be their family or friends or other people they know this became a freakin seminar i’m sorry
