Welcome to Symbian Belle! Does that ring any bells? (pun intended) Symbian Belle is the final version of Symbian (unless someone miraculously decides to update it), an operating system that was used on Nokia phones. I happen to have a Nokia E7 from 2010 running Symbian Belle which inspired me to make this project. Symbian was a beautiful operating system containing widgets, control centres, great design style, and more. Remember this was back in 2010 (when it had it’s last update), then neither apple nor android (android did have some but they were very limited) have widgets or a control centre. Unfortunately Nokia switched from cellphones to smartphones to late. Nokia lost popularity and people migrated to the two most used mobile operating systems today: iOS and Andoid! Having searched for similar projects to mine I found none, so I thought why not make a Symbian Belle re-creation on scratch, and so, here it is! That concludes the essay no-one is going to read! ❌ !!!BETA ALERT!!! ❌ This project is NOT stable! Errors may occur, features missing, all sorts of other stuff, BTW please read the description above as I didn’t write it for no reason. ALL custom coded, all code is original! - I’m porting over a bunch of stuff from my other projects (usually things that are tedious to code) so some elements may look weird. ALL (except for Nokia logo) costumes were created within scratch! Obviously the original Symbian belle was intended for a different aspect ratio than the scratch stage so it may look a bit different, however the general feel of it should stay the same.
