Benny, since he was a pup, was raised in a harsh kennel where they mistreated dogs and foxes, sometimes ran tests on them for DNA to see how they were related and such. One test went wrong, and one fox turned into a horrible hybrid with sharp claws and teeth, and a long, twisted, muzzle. He attacked most of Benny's group and they were freed from their cages. Benny got a lot of the wounds trying to save the smaller pups (yes, he was actually nice once) and a bit of the wrong DNA kinda went into him?? If that makes sense?? From the hybrid dude?? So he has a bit of dog DNA, which gives him a less pointier muzzle and some mental traits (his barks sound a bit dog-like and it's an odd accent for a fox to have, and other foxes have difficulty understanding him) but then after he got the wounds he went out into the forest and laid by some random pool, and then Linny (my other OC who can talk to animals qwq) found him and healed him with what she could (her sweater and a first aid kit she had). She could understand his accent just fine because she spoke dog and fox. Anyways ye! Goodnight!
