Name || Caelum Gender || He / They Species || God of the darkness - in my universe backstory!! **death** The world was ruled by 3 gods, Solis, Caelum and Stellae. Solis was the god of the sun and she kept the Earth warm, controlled the sun and made warm weather. Caelum was the god of the sky and all the darkness. He was responsible for rain, storms and cloudy weather too. Stellae was the god of the stars and cared for all the people or animals who had died. They all did their job accordingly, although in Spring and Autumn every year, Solis and Caelum argued about what the weather should be. This caused the weather to be a mix of both sunny, cloudy or rainy. Stellae usually settled the fight, by choosing which days they got and made it fair. One year, the fight got out of hand. Stellae couldn't control the two and it got physical. The weather was crazy. It went from a storm to humid sun and then cold and cloudy. Stellae had warned the mortals of the fight. Though they did not take it well. Each mortal took a side and the War of Viridi Campis ( the place they live ) started. The war went on for decades, and no one could stop it, except Stellae. Stellae went to the battle fields and tried to stop them, but they were to much. Solis and Caelum had moved to the battle field, and were fighting each other. Stellae jumped in front of the both to stop them. It was too late, they had both contributed to a lighting strike, which hit Stellae right in the head. Stellae dropped to the ground. They had realised what they had done. They stopped fighting and ran to Stellae's corpse. The mortals had also realised what happened. The god of the stars and death had died. The dead mortals would not live on happy in heaven anymore. They would have no afterlife and not be cared for in anyway. Everyone stopped fighting. They knew what they had done. Stellae had stopped the fight. What she wanted. The people and gods of Viridi Campis would never fight again. They were done forever. Hope you enjoyed! Sorry it was so long hehe
