Instructions

Use the arrow keys, mouse or swipe to pilot your ship through the long and winding tunnel in space. This will become increasingly difficult as the bends become sharper with each stage cleared. Points are awarded for the distance traveled. Leaving the tunnel means game over! Click button 'setup' to configure keyboard/mouse controls. The higher a value, the more sensitive the ship responds (good for experienced players). Zero disables the control method (especially useful for 'mouse follow'). A negative value reverses controls (which is now the default for 'keyboard y' to get a more joystick-like feel - May 7, 2017).

Description

Design and coding by Ruud, January-April 2015. Spaceship created with Blender (http://www.blender.org). All other graphics created with GIMP (http://www.gimp.org). All sound effects created with SoX (http://sox.sourceforge.net). Code based on Ruud's award-winning i-mode game 'Space Tunnel'. http://www.dojadragon.com/?doc=st https://web.archive.org/web/20060525093541/http://www.doja-developer.net/contest/result.htm Gameplay inspired by 'Master of the Lamps' and 'Aliens: The Computer Game', two games published by Activision in the mid 1980s, both of which featured a similar 'ride through the hoops'. Thanks to devvv for the tutorial to create a starry background: http://www.gimpusers.com/tutorials/starfield-tutorial Thanks to Penguin Pete for the tutorial to create metallic text: http://penguinpetes.com/b2evo/index.php?title=gimp_tutorial_metallic_text Thanks to all you scratchers for the luvs, favs and kind words. Thanks @HEAVENBRAND for curating the game (April 26, 2015); amazing to be on the front page!
