This is some axolotl art I made. The background is also by me.
The animal you see on the screen is called an axolotl (pronounced ax-uh lot-uh-l). The axolotl is a species of salamander, also called the walking fish. These adorable creatures live in Mexico City. Sadly, due to water pollution and invasive fish species, they are critically endangered. They are extremely cute (as you can see) and unlike most other salamanders, they live their entire lives in the water. And as far as exotic animals go, these guys are supposedly pretty easy to take care of!
