The grey tom awoke in a dark dark swampy forest. It reeked of blood and bad water. "What the Star-" The tom spoke but was interrupted when a grey tom with a grey-ish brown line going down his spine. "This is the Dark Forest, Fangpaw" He explained. "I am Snaketooth." He grinned, revealing a curved tooth. "And.. I'm here because..?" Fangpaw seemed bored and confused. "Because Brightstar shouldn't be training you.. I should.." "I'm not interested.." Fangpaw protested but a sudden pain struck his ear. "Like I said.. Brightstar shouldn't be training you I should." Snaketooth repeated, his anger growing. Fangpaw jolted awake as he felt a paw stab his side. "Time for your hunting lesson!" Brightstar looked at him with big, blind, clear, blue eyes. "Oh.. Uhh.. I have to talk to you.." Fangpaw was nervous about what he was about to say. "Yes?" She asked in a soothing tone. "I was visited by a Dark Forest cat.." He replied. Brightstar froze in her place.
