He/She/It is a virus that sometimes infects Moonspirit's heart. When he does, Moonspirit turns into Moonsoul. There is virtually no visible difference, except the darker fur. Moonspirit is now insane, kills other cats, loses some memory-data, and forgets all sanity until an anti-virus program is run, which can take weeks.
