This is the first podcast update of twenty fifteen, and as an update, I'm now calling my podcast updates "Chill Time with MrMario". Does that sound cool? So anyways, first order of business: I'm back. We've all established that, right? I made a project, so that means I'm back, right? Good. So the next thing I'd like to say is that I'm naming the character that's a representation of my real self. You know, the nerd with the light brown hair and the orange shirt? His name shall be Moe. That's an actual nickname my dad calls me sometimes, so I thought I'd use it for his name. The next thing I'd like to bring up is the Ocarina of Time fan comic I mentioned before I left. But it's not just any fan comic! The comic will be called "The Legend of MrMario: Ocarina of Music", and it'll be a re-telling of Ocarina of Time with different characters. For example, MrMario will play the role of Link, Moonglow will play the role of Zelda, Striker the Oshawott will play the role of Princess Ruto, and my best friends in the world, ah that's ri-i-i-i-ight, I'm talking about Moshi and East, will play the roles of Saria and Mido respectively. And that's not all! To make the comic unique, I'm going to make it a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure-meets-Twitch-Plays-Pokémon sort of thing. After most of the pages, I'll give you two possible scenarios for what happens in the next page, and you guys will vote on which scenario you want to happen in the comments. How cool is that? The comic will start on February 11th, and Sandwiches will post a page every Wednesday afternoon, except for pages with the dungeon MrMario's about to enter or the boss MrMario's about to fight, those will be posted the day after, and yeah, stuff like that. So grab your stuff, bomb some dodongos, and hop onto the hype train, because we're going FULL STEAM AHEAD! *sings Full Steam Ahead* Oh, and you know how I've been hash tagging my MrMario Plays Minecraft projects with #MrMarioPlaysMinecraft? Welp, it's all part of my MASTER PLAN FOR RE--I mean, it's all part of a plan I have where I'm going to create one hashtag every month, so then I can summarize my 2015 career in #hashtags. The January hashtag is for MrMario Plays Minecraft, so the February tag will be for Ocarina of Music. Welp, that's all I have for today. Oh, you wanted me to make more references? Okay then. Hello, and welcome to Chill Time with MrMario (a.k.a. a dumb podcast update)! I've only really got three things to tell you about, so yeah. Hope you enjoy! -+x+- Fun Fax -+x+- - I had to redo this twice. - I originally drew Moe with stubble (I have stubble IRL), but was unable to make it look good, so I scrapped it. - Ocarina of Music is inspired by a fan comic on Colors! 3D called "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Wyatt" created by some guy called Starman Super. I don't recommend it though, because there's a lot of swearing. - There will be lots of v̶i̶d̶e̶o̶ ̶g̶a̶m̶e̶ ̶r̶e̶f̶e̶r̶e̶n̶c̶e̶s̶ references to many things, such as YouTubers, music/bands (e.g. The Beatles), books, and much more in Ocarina of Music. - Even though East plays the role of Mido, he won't act like a complete butt towards MrMario. - I was going to have a different song play at the outro, but I decided to use the same music that was in the background so that it wouldn't take up so much space.
