From their history it is said that Yume played "#$@%* Dudes Be #$@%* Sleepin" as the guitar in Pearl's performance. After Yume went home, she heard Jen playing the piano and producing a melody. That day onwards, both started working on Into the Vortex. This was the first version of the song. Jen did everything except for the electric guitar (which can't be heard properly because Yume's mic had a problem). Jen's voice was pretty glitchy too because her mic had a problem too. (but not as severe as Yume's problem)
