ok so basically (i might make this a series) but random storytime yay. press space/arrow keys/click. today i'll tell you about Harry Potter Club (HP club for short) and LARPs, aka Live Action Roleplays, aka the most fun thing when done right. So first off: HP Club. What is it? A club thing me, my sis (Ruby), and my friend (who imma call El cuz I can't say her real name) started back when I was in 4th grade (so ruby was in 1st grade and el was in 2nd). yeah, an old rp. i can't believe its been that long. They felt, idk, OLDER- (wait it was when I was in 4th grade right- yea that summer cuz I'd just finished the first 2 books and was working on the 3rd) anyways, as the name suggests, we talked about- uh- HARRY POTTER! And since I'm also bringing LARPs into this you can probs guess where this is going (also if u pressed space/click/arrow keys already lol). Yea basically 1/3 of it is share comics and chat and joke around, 1/3 is play games and joke around as the golden trio, and the other 1/3 is rp a biiiiit more seriously as the golden trio. When we started this Ron was my favorite character, so I called Ron. El chose Harry, and Ruby got Hermione but she was fine w/ that cuz she wanted her anyways. So yeah its fun. Actually, we do it mostly in El's backyard, specifically in her garage. unlike ours its not cluttered as hecc so if her parents pulled the car out we'd just chill in there and do stuff, its kinda become our hangout. When we're in there its mostly sitting either on the ground or in lawn chairs, usually wrapped in blankets cuz y e s. There've been times where we legit stayed up until midnight playing in her garage~ Anyways thats off topic. This part was usually talking or roleplaying, like we'd pretend to sleep, then have chats n stuff idk how to explain it but its more fun than I'm describing it lmao There's also how we started meetings. If i can find the folder where I put the paper I wrote this stuff down on I'll write it here and maybe make it its own project, which I'll also link. But yeah HP club was really fun. It ALSO gave us the b e s t inside jokes, like "I smell.....the color red. I smell....glasses. I smell....b o o k s.", "RIDE THE PALM TREE! RIDE IT!", "Happy llama sad llama totally rad llama snape da llama is a llama a really really llama llama", and "SHINAYYY". Aside from that we had other things i kinda wanna explain, like the Derpy Squad. Basically in 4th grade I was tryina draw the HP squad but messed up and decided to continue purposefully drawing them bad and made it into a joke, thus giving us Derpy Potter, Wrong Weasley, Hermninny, Draco Forehead, SNAPE DA LLAMA, Mini Weasley, and Gred and Forge. And "Stupidify!". No, not Stupefy. Stupidify. It went something like this (I think El and I did this while Ruby just stood and watched, holding back laughter): > Fred + George: *casting it on themselves* Stupidify! > Ron: What are you guys doing? > G: Duhhhh.......i dont kno > R: Uhm...like seriously what were you doing? Fred? > F: DUhhhhhh......i dunno *later* > McGonagall: What did you boys do? > F + G: Duuuuhhhhh......i dunt no yeah Imma stop there but there's more stuff to unload that honestly deserves its own project-
The second part of this is just other LARPs I've done w/ these guys! 1) Spies Not much to say here other than we were spies lol I think I made files for us but idk 2) LAWCRP Live Action Warrior Cats Roleplay. Exactly what it sounds like. I've actually done others like I think I got my friend Kat to join us one time, and another time it was Ruby, my cousins, and I. But yea they were fun we had like patrols, and battle training, and full on like dens n stuff. And warrior/apprentice ceremonies :'3. My favorite ones were probably the one I did w/ my younger cousins (I forget what the other made her name be but her bro was like Blackfang or Pantherclaw or something like that) and we had full on naming ceremonies that I referenced from my book. The other was the names taken literally spoof one- i think I turned it into a scratch rp later on and I've already talked about it on the "i found nightpaw's original design" project but yea- oh and here's that rp studio lmao: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/25084124/ i might revive it 3) That one fantasy rp thing- Yay so aside from HP club and certain LAWCRPs, this is easily my favorite LARP I've done w/ Ruby and El. We had like full on props and lore n stuff. I was Nyx, a dragon-human shapeshifter from the NightDragon kingdom, but got like kicked out of my tribe because I had a dangerous item. They didn't know I still had it. It was like a moonstone/some kind of powerful blue crystal. Ruby was Raylin, an antisocial moonshadow elf who was also cast out of her tribe thing and is now living with a group of outcasts. Oh, and she had this cursed insanely powerful lightning death stick, and its the reason she was kicked out. El was Luna, an outgoing and bubbly demon-angel. I forget what happened in between these two things but at some point we were full on like "KILL THE HUMANS!!" cuz humans were evil in this universe. And Nyx was over here using the moonstone to boost her own magic and did a kill spell, wiping out an entire (albeit small) wave of about like 100 human soldiers in one fell swoop. And then was like "this is like 3% of my power, I really can't use much power if I'm not angry. You don't wanna get me angry." and meanwhile Raylin and Luna were like "HOW THE HECC ARE U NOT ANGRY PEOPLE ARE TRYINA KILL US RN". Keep in mind Nyx is like the d e f i n i t i o n of chill. Oh, and in that battle thing, Luna let her demon side take over, Nyx had gone full dragon, and Raylin was using her sticc. And then at the end Nyx ate half the bodies then put the rest of them in a pile and burnt them to a pile of ashes. So y e a h- and we wenn't to Raylin's tribe of outcasts at some point but I forget when. Oh yeah and that same day of the RP we like got shave ice and were eating it on the front steps of me/ruby's house and listening to warriors spoofs :'3 good times~ anyways thats it- all art is by me, characters belong to me, ruby, El, and jk rowling (for the harry potter ones) music is by Kevin MacLeod heh if you read all of this tell me your favorite part- also congrats for having that patience lmao
