Basically I wanted to do a redwood-themed MAP for 400 but I couldn't find any songs I thought would work and that I liked. I came up with this idea instead.... it seemed like a good idea when I was half asleep lol Anyways a MAT is a Multi-Artist-Tree. Basically anyone can join and they draw their own section of this towering redwood to be added to the final tree :) How to join: ~ Just ask for a part (section of the tree) in the comments and tell me the codeword! ~ When I give you the ok you can remix this project with the art for your part in the "YOUR PART HERE" sprite (More specific instructions on how to add your part are written as comments in that sprite.) Rules/Guidelines: ~ Please use the rough outline in the project for the base for you're drawing. (sorry that this part is kind of restrictive, this is just the only way that it can be made into one great tree!) You can add branches, plants, animals, basically anything to that, but the base of the tree should be able to attach onto the next and previous people's artwork! ~ One part each for now but I'll change that to two if there are still some left. ~ You can do digital or traditional art. I think digital would probably be easier but both work :3 ~ You can do a lot with your part and I encourage you to be creative. You can even do a looping animation if you want (as long as there is no cloning or changing the coordinates, or something like that just changing costumes you know?) ~ I don't expect the parts to travel seamlessly between each other, each person has their own art style and have different colors and textures! That's what this project is all about so don't worry about that :D ~ If you want some ideas to get started scroll down to the bottom of this! ~ The codeword(s) is "Look Up" Deadline: No rush but a good goal is 2 weeks after you get your part. Plants and fungi grow on these trees you can draw those. ~ You can draw a person or an OC in the tree. ~ You could go more magical with faeries or nymphs. I just wanted to say that I never thought I'd get here and I've met so many awesome people. Scratch is not about the follows and I always try to think about that when I'm making projects but when I do get follows it feels nice, and like I said it helps me meet so many awesome people.
