MMBN7 Episode 5: Part 1 Corruption Within the Ranks ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Last Time: ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Team Shadow tried to fight off Nightman who had broken in to the base, but failed and now Protoman and Megaman are gone. The only good news the team has is their new member, Light Woman. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: A Call to Action ------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Lan woke up the next day, still upset from the day before yesterday he went into the kitchen to have himself some pancakes) Mom: (Concerned) Still sad about Megaman being deleted? Lan: (Nods) Yeah, it hurts because I've known him since 5th grade. Mom: (Comforting) It's okay Lan, on the bright side of things, you got an envelope from Dad. Lan: (Happy) Really? What is it? Mom: You'll see, open it. (Lan opens the envelope to see a piece of paper with a Data Disc inside) Mom: (Interested) Seems like he wrote you something, what does it say? Lan: (Reading the note) Dear Lan, I just heard about how Megaman is now gone from one of the other scientists. I know it may be hard to except he's gone, but sometimes things change in your life and you have to except it. This disc has a very special Navi on it, it's no Megaman but we assumed after finding her, I would only be right to give her to you. Feel free to use her while you get over Megaman, Love Dad. Mom: (Confused) A new Net Navi? Lan: (Kinda Upset) Doesn't he know Megaman's the only Navi in my heart? Mom: (Comforting) Hey, he wanted to help you feel better, at least see who it is. Lan: Okay, it may take a while though. (Lan puts in the disc and it starts loading, he was right, it would take a while for it to load onto his computer, then he got a call from Chaud) Lan: (Confused) Huh? Why's Chaud calling me? Mom: (Confused) Answer it, it may be important. Lan: (Answering the call) What is it Chaud? Chaud: (Clearing in shock) Lan you have to get here NOW! Lan: (Shaken) Whoa whoa whoa, hold up what's wrong? Chaud: (Tries to calm down) In the Main Server, we've just had a virus outbreak in all of the areas in the base's server, you have to get here now! Lan: (Nods) Alright, but give me a second there's a new navi that my dad sent me that's still loading on my- Chaud: (Angry) There's no time! You'll just have to help by giving Shadow Woman battle chips. Lan: (Shocked) Wait, what! Chaud: (Now flustered) Now I've gotta go, Colonel's about to wack some sense into Blizzardman for his jokes and now we have to talk him out of doing such. Colonel: (In the background) Call me General Frost again, I dare you. Blizzardman: (Sounding Annoyed) General Frost! Light Woman: (Holding Colonel Back) RUN BLIZZARDMAN! Shadow Woman: (Trying to keep her cool) Just get over here now! (The call then ended) Mom: (Nods) You better go, it seems as if Colonel will kill someone if he has the chance. Lan: (Worried) But what about the New Navi? Mom: (Comforting) I'll keep an eye on the downloading sequence. Lan: (Nods) Thank you Mom. Mom: (Happy) Anything for you now you better get going, I'm not sure how long Light Woman can hold off Colonel. Lan: (Laughs a bit) Alright I'm off! (Lan runs out the door heading towards the team's base)
