CONGRATS ON 200+ LUCKY! ghisjefkhjbsg These designs are giving me an audible stroke ---- I’m entering for 2 but I’ve only gotten the art for one so far. ;; I'll post the finished project when I'm done with the next one. ---- #1 God I love the pastel yellow socks so much. I think it's the main reason I'm entering for this one. Lucky literally baited me Name: Marlow Age: 12 Height: 5"0 Gender: Female Personality: Probably won't hurt you. She has a big imagination and often fantasizes being noticed and praised by her piers. However, that's a rare occurrence due to her quiet nature (Think of it as the Secret Life of Walter Mitty). She's often over-trusting and easy to take advantage of. Easily stressed by assignments and socializing. Overall sweet, sensitive, and caring. Hobbies: Decorating any space possible, going to the library and reading, sometimes getting inspired and writing poems. Scene Thing: "Can anyone tell me the capital of Illinois?" The teacher's voice bounced off the poster-covered walls of the small classroom. The only response she got was a tapping pencil and a creaking chair. Her ruler hovered over the state map as her eyes darted around the room. "Anyone?" A student raised his hand not a millimetre higher than the top of his head. The teacher jabbed her ruler at him. "Yes." "Chicagoooh..?" "No." A lone laugh rose from the back of the room but fell silent immediately. Murmurs of possible answers were exchanged. Students started shouting out. "Rockford!" "Where's Rockford?" "Illinois City?" "No, not Illinois City." "Wait, that's an actual place?" "LA!" "LA is in California, you dim-wit." Marlow twirled the strings of her jacket. Springfield. That was the capital. She looked up at the class, which had erupted into chaos in front of her. Kids were naming cities on the other side of the country, or cities that didn't exist. "Springfield." she murmured quietly. Nobody noticed. "Springfield!" A little louder, but it didn't raise her success. Marlow inhaled and clambered upwards until she was standing on top of her desk. This was it. Everyone was going to see what she was capable of. She was going to make so many new friends. She tugged her jacket and opened her mouth. "SPRINGFIELD!" The room fell silent. Marlow looked around at the faces of her classmates, their blinking eyes filled with realization. And admiration. They admired her. The teacher nodded slowly, lowering the ruler. "Yes, Springfield, very good Marlow!" Marlow smiled wide. She pronounced her name correctly. Better yet she remembered Marlow's name. Murmurs started up again, but this time in her favor. "Wow, she's so smart!" "Springfield! How'd she know?" "I hope she'll want to be friends with me." "Marlouw." "MARLOUW!" Marlow's head snapped up. She wasn't standing on top of the desk. She wasn't being watched by her classmates, never mind being admired by them. And the teacher had definitely NOT pronounced her name correctly. "It's Springfield." a monotone voice said from beside Marlow. The girl sitting next to her had gotten the answer as well- but with the help of the iPhone in her lap. Marlow blinked from the girl back to the teacher. "I said that. Springfield." ---- (not entering for this one anymore, just Marlow! ^^) #2 guvbhkm I am loving this dude's outfit.
