⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⭐ Scratcher Status Detector ⭐ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀» This Project can determine if you are « ➊ Connected to the Internet ➋ a Scratcher ➌ a New Scratcher UPDATE 24th November - added signed-in detection. The cloud variable reading uses a latency based wait system. So it calculates time taken to send and receive data through translate and divides it by 2 as it only goes to MIT’s server for receiving the cloud data. This houses the fastest connection detection on Scratch ever! Try it out yourself by turning off WiFi and clicking the green flag. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀◆◆◆ Usage◆◆◆ ⠀» If you are using this in any of your projects make sure to give credit by saying- "Scratcher Status Detector by @Chiroyce - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/448185902/ ⠀ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◆◆◆ How this works ◆◆◆ There is a Cloud variable set to 0 and the project is saved. Then from the project page, I click the sprite, and the Cloud var changes to 1. Scratchers can read Cloud data but New Scrctahers cannot. So, if a new Scratcher tries it, the Cloud Variable will be equal to 0, when a Scratcher tries it, it will be equal to 1. ⠀ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀◆◆◆ Credits ◆◆◆ @Chiroyce made the Connection and Scratcher Status detector. (Basically @Chiroyce made everything except art) @DadOfMrLog gave the idea and inspiration! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/18593258/ (I did not use any code from him) Google Drawings for Comfortaa font. https://svgrepo.com for the cloud and WiFi icon. ⠀ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ⠀ Please make sure to ❤️, ⭐ and follow @Chiroyce! ⠀ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ⠀#IgnoreTags #all ⠀ ⠀#trending ⠀ ⠀#scratch ⠀ ⠀#scratcher ⠀ ⠀#cloud #detector
