Starclan Backstory: Mountainsong led a mostly ordinary life aside from having been adopted by two dads (GAY CATS YES). She had a brother who she grew up alongside. As a kit and an apprentice, Mountainsong was a little unruly. She thought it was funny to pull pranks on her clanmates and just generally joke around. The pranks were mostly harmless and most clanmates laughed along with her (aside from the time when she made her mentor slip and sprain their paw slightly, after which she got seven days of tick duty). Life was also good throughout her years as a warrior. Her fathers became elders, her brother went on to mentor his very first apprentice and she mentored her own. She became a mother eventually (although one of her kittens was stillborn) and lived like any other cat, eventually becoming an elder after her dads passed on. Her brother died a little earlier than her. It was peaceful for him, as it happened in his sleep. She would live for a few more years before she finally went down to the lake one day to look at the water. She perched upon a rock a little ways out where the water was deep enough to be submerged in. Sadly, she slipped and fell in. Being old and being from WindClan (a clan which pretty much never swims) she was unable to return to shore and drowned. Her clanmates were unable to recover her body, but they knew she was gone for good when she didn't return by moonhigh that night. Mountainsong always tells cats when they ask her how her death went "It was peaceful. I think a part of me knew I was going to go that day, and I don't remember much of the actual dying part, so I would consider it ok." Personality: Mountainsong is generally a calm soul, although she can reveal a playful side. She likes to adventure with others up in StarClan, exploring the world and telling jokes to one another. She has yet to have found the dead ones in her family in the vastness of the stars, but she is confident that she will see her fathers and brother and stillborn kit again. She just has to ask around first.
