Candy cane used to be a street dog. His skin was so matted and tangled it was hard to tell what colors it was. He was a loner and people either jeered at him or kicked him, or ignored him. Finally on the brink of death a family who had just moved in saw the dog and took it to there home. They saved his life that day. On Christmas eve he came out looking spanking new. No one could believe there eyes. He was a white mutt with red feet muzzle and tail tip! He had a candy cane mark on his leg. The family immediately took down the mistletoe and gave it to him! Happy family! Until his family had to go away on a trip and candy cane was captured. He escaped but was now in the wild. His will to live and power kept him happy until he found a pack. He was accepted and in now living the high life his fur spotless.
