[] Part 1 - POV: Black Diamond [] Time: Present day (Chapter 12) (Press the letter 'G' to move to the next slide) As time ticked by, Black Diamond sharpened a small dagger that sat on her desk- her purple eyes flicked over to the window, the sky was becoming darker as it dusk approached. A loud boom snatched her attention as the palace like floors shook- She glowered as she stood up, Black Diamond rest the newly sharpened weapon on the soft wooden surface and paced. She had already guessed where it had come from: her prison. Black Diamond paced and waited- it was no use letting them go, nor keeping them here. She only needed one dragon. "SHADE" She shouted. (Press the letter 'a' to move to the next slide) A bit of shuffling came from the hall way, "Y-Yes?" the hybrid answered. Black Diamond never got over the fact that Shade looked like a half bleached blueberry- she kept her self from snorting when Shade walked in, because she expected for the blue half to somehow disappear. "Get me a few tranquilizer darts." Black Diamond look up from her stance, "Were going hunting for a few... Dragonets." [] Part 2 - POV: Quartz [] Time: Present Day (Chapter 13) (Press the letter 'm' to move to the next slide) Quartz flew down towards the swamp with everyone- he re-positioned he glasses when they landed on the soft ground. "I hope Black Diamond doesn't come hurtling out of the darkness." Came a comment from behind him, Quartz didn't look back to check. Glow had a deep frown on his face as he walked up to him, "You okay?" Glow asked with concern. "I'm fine, I just need some actual sleep." Quartz answered quickly, brushing off Glows worried expression. Quartz sped up- nearly moving past Mysterious Mask Face, "Look, kid. I know you're trying to ignore it, but your friend who looks a lot like your other friend is right." "I said I was fine. I just. Have. To. Sleep." He replied with a soft hiss to his tone, he was already caught up on why Black Diamond was so hesitant, why did Mysterious Mask Face refer to Glow as him looking like another friend. Why why why why why. So many questions with no answers. RRRRR why couldn't there be a encyclopedia of all the answers to every question! No, ARRRHHHG that's another 'why' to his massive pile. Equinox walked up to him, her pretty eyes told him all she was going to say. But Mysterious Mask Face interrupted her before she could speak, "Come out, you know you can't hide." (Press the letter 'e' to move on to the next slide) A soft hybrid figure limped out, she was bruised and had several wounds. She was half white and half blue, she had remains of armor on- almost as if she had been in a 5v1 fight. "I was ambushed" She gasped, "I didn't mean to follow you- I just thought you might be able to help me." "Of course." Mysterious Mask Face replied, "We're about to settle down for tonight anyways." Quartz was weary and explained this to Equinox who just told him he was being silly and needed to take a break. When camp was set up, he saw Equinox talking with the new addition to the group. Her half and half coloration looked familiar, but Quartz was to tiered and dropped into sleep. Maybe it was just a result of Equinox also being half and half like that. About an hour later, Quartz was hungry and got up to take a cooked fish. He watched as Equinox walked out of camp area with the blue and white hybrid. Curious, he followed- somewhat closer to Black Diamonds palace- they didn't fly, but walked. Soon Quartz realized they were going a little too far and nearly called out to stop, but he didn't. (Press the letter 'O' to move to the next slide) Suddenly Black Diamond erupted from behind him, grabbing his snout and keeping it shut. He let out a muffled screech of alarm- Quartz felt something prick him on the side of he neck, he almost could guess what it was when his mind started to get fuzzy. A tranquilizer dart. A common- yet hardly purchased item, as it's useless to use it when hunting. But I guess it helps in battle. Put all your enemies to sleep. (Press the letter 'n' to move to the next slide) Quartz saw the hybrid attack Equinox- she turned to see him being pinned by Black Diamond, the alarm in her eyes told everything, a small tear escaped his eye. Quartz couldn't tell if his vision was getting fuzzy or it was because his glasses skittered off to his right... or was it his left? His blurred gaze fell onto Equinox, a tranquilizer dart pressed into her front leg, and then everything went black. (Small note- I had the urge to write 'My Diamond' after 'Yes' as a funny reference to SU- so it would appear: "Y-Yes My Diamond?" XD)
