Description

as promised, here's an art process for 500+ followers! space to change slides, click to zoom in not mobile friendly, sorry ^^" this is one of my comfort sonas, Charlie! i love her, please do not steal her design <3 i was messing around with my style a bit in this piece :) fullscreen for best quality! [ slides ] 1 . sketch! i used an airbrush at 11.8 size for most of this, and changed it to 6.9 for smaller details, like the hands ^^ 2 . lineart time! i turned the opacity of the sketch down to 50% and drew the lineart on a separate layer. 3 . i hid the background and sketch and added a layer under the lineart to start coloring. 4 . choose your reference! i will be drawing my new character charlie ( designed by me ). 5 . color! i colored the fur only on this layer. 6 . more color - for the hair, bandaid and eyes this time :) this is on a new layer over the fur. 7 . finished the color on another layer! 8 . i colored the lineart by setting the lineart layer to alpha lock ^^ 9 . basic shading! i used purple and drew on the right sides of the drawing. 10 . i blurred the shading using the "gaussian blur" filter. 11 . i turned the blending mode to "multiply" and the opacity to 60%, then duplicated the layers and dragged them over the lineart layer. 12 . i blocked in the lighting with yellow. 13 . blurred the lighting like i did to the shading. 14 . set the lighting to "add" at 50% ( later i turned it down to 30% ). 15 . i unhid the background and watermarked the piece! 16 . finished piece!
