Iris shivered at Ace's words. "Otherwise you would've been killed...." She was now dressed in the clothes provided for her and reading a book that was on the bedside table. This room is better than hers back at home or the little pod on the ship she had to call home for two years before... Iris's head still hurts from the loud explosions as she relieved them in her thoughts. Was she the only one who survived? And what about the strange eyes that everyone living here sported. How has her life changed so much in such a short time. Iris huffed out of frustration and threw the book at the door. A second later, a knock came at the door. Iris called out, "Come in!" And in comes the girl Paris. The girl skips in and grabs Iris by the arm. "Come on, you got to get to cleaning! You're up for dish duty after." Dragging her out the door, Paris pulled Iris down what felt like a dozen hallways into a row of bed chambers. Iris frowned. "Oh wow, I'm actually a servant. Y'all weren't kidding." Paris smiled widely, "Yep! Get to cleaning." Iris spent the next 3 hours cleaning various bedchambers, trying to keep her mind wandering instead of freaking out. She instead thought of the boy who saved her life selflessly. Why would he do that for her?
