I forgot to mention it but if you are making a longer animation or something the character only ought to be there for like 5 seconds of screen time if you want -- I realize the design is a bit complex XD ohhh and btw you don't /have/ to tell me if you'll be joining unless you want to tell me, there's no sign-up sheet or anything. :P Just get it in as soon as you can.
