Chapter Two Iris woke up in a room with brown walls. She was in someone else's bed, so she sat up instantly, reaching for her knife that wasn't there. She then looked around for the boy who supposedly carried her here. "Hello? Is anyone here?" she called out cautiously. She heard a door open and the boy from before walks into the room, standing at the foot of her bed. "You asked me what I am, saying I was like you. But you have blue eyes. Everyone on this planet has red eyes. You stand out too much." he explained calmly, waiting for Iris's reaction. He tossed her a hoodie and said, "To cover your eyes some. They're very... noticable." Iris scoffed and mumbled something about how his eyes weren't very subtle either before pulling on the hoodie. She tugged on the hood to pull it over the front of her face more. After that, he tossed her some sunglasses. "You don't need to hide your eyes around me, I saw them already. But whenever you leave this room, you must have the shades on at least." Then he asked, "Why did you come here?" Iris looked away. She was not gonna cry in front of him. He didn't need to know that her home planet is inhabitable, so instead she told him, "I put in the wrong coordinates, I'm stranded here and need help." Is this boy even human... Just then, a girl burst into the room. She had blonde hair and also sported red eyes. Guess he wasn't kidding then. Iris quickly looked down to avoid making eye contact. The nosey girl practically shouted, "So Ace, how's the new girlfriend doing, aren't you gonna show her around her cell? She shouldn't be stuck in just the bed. Up, up!" she ordered Iris, but she stayed put. The boy who's name she now knew replied, "Get out Paris, she's not ready to be bombarded. Out!". When Paris left, Iris asked Ace, "Am I a prisoner?" She knew nothing about the ways of these people. She was told that they weren't much different than her people. He responded, "I found you and you have no family. I took you in the only way my dad would accept. As a servant. Otherwise you would've been killed."
