FAKE! From Speed Racer: Race Around the World, which just came out at the time of making this. What's my opinion on it? It's not good. What are my reasons? 1. The flash animation is very lazy and stiff, though that may be because the studio behind this was Dolphin Entertainment (the same guys that worked on Puyo Puyo: Our Popping Adventure and are working on the Jar series of Speed Racer). 2. The story was partly stolen from Motu Patlu 36 Ghantey (especially the ending where both the hero (Speed) and the villian (Skull Duggery) crash and another guy (Crash Override) wins) mixed with Race to the Future (2013 Speed Racer movie). A pity, considering that Utako Yoshino (who wrote the story for Puyo Puyo Tetris) co-wrote the script for the film. 3. The CGI cars are horribly animated (yes, even the Mach 5) with wheels most of the time not even moving when cars are moving, and some were RIPPED from other media (i.e., the Wollamshire Industries car (the one the main antagonist drives) from Puyo Puyo: Our Popping Adventure, all of the racing cars (yes, all 12 or so of them) from the aforementioned Motu Patlu 36 Ghantey, 2020 series Skull Duggery's car was used as this Skull Duggery's car, etc.). Plus, the 2D animated cars (especially in the first race before the actual Race around the World) look like clipart you'd find on Google Chrome. 4. Blatant product placement is almost everywhere, especially on the cars: for example, we have all four RCR Pullback racers from General Mills cereal boxes used as cars (Crash Override drove the red Shell Pennzoil #29 car), there’s also product placement for Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 (i.e. one of the cars in the race), and there’s a blue car with logos all over it (I.e. Hyundai). 5. And it's just HIGHLY unfunny. Throwing in pop culture references (i.e. when Sparky mentions Puyo Puyo Tetris during the second leg of the race) doesn't mean humor! (Okay, maybe it does.) Wow, what a long summary. It was also reminiscent to a Miraheze page lol

Description

Credit to all! By the ways, Dolphin working on this movie is very disappointing, since Puyo Puyo: Our Popping Adventure (despite having a few animation errors) looked better than this. Maybe that's because of the adorable character designs, not the generic anime-esque character designs shown here.
