Okay, so I just noticed that this CC was posted 4 years ago. But I had already finished the coloring and the story so what the heck, I thought I'd just post it. ** Oceana soared through the darkening sky. Her feathery violet wings spread wide. She heaved a great sigh. It was a strange thing, to be a spirit. Tree branches below swayed in the wind. But she could not feel any cool, night breeze ruffle her fur. Oceana angled herself downward, and soon alighted upon a mountainous tree. She looked down on the sleeping forms of her packmates. They all looked so peaceful, and not one knew that she was dead. She held back a sob as she gazed at her mate, Twilight. Oceana had left him all alone, just because she wanted to have a little adventure this night. She felt selfish. But what was done, was done, as Twilight had always said. "I'll miss you.." Oceana whispered, then she turned, and took flight. ** //Kinda frustrated I spent the last hour on this.//
