Hey guys, I need to say a few things on art. I don't know if you guys need this or if anyone will even read it, but it's nice to know it's there for those that do. It's kind of funny that I'm the one saying this, because I have had to tell myself this nearly every day . First of all, your art dosen't suck. It may not turn out the way you want it to, but never tell yourself it sucks. There might be room for improvement, but look at your piece and realize, you made this! You took your art medium and made something that will never be made again! This piece you made, if can never be made exactly the same ever again! And no matter how much you deny it, this piece is special! Second of all, you can and will improve as long as you put time and effort into it. If you press space, you can go through some of my older artworks. These aren't my oldest pieces, going back only a year, but you can still clearly see improvement. This brings me to yet another point, never ever ever throw away or delete old artworks. Looking through your old artworks can give you a real confidence boost as well as being able to see how far you've come. Every piece you make is special and not a single one deserves a place in the trash. Fourth of all, don't stop drawing. Draw because you love it, not because you want a ton of followers or fame. The more you draw the better and better you'll get. So DON'T STOP DRAWING! 5th of all, don't rush perfection, getting good at something takes time and effort. If you rush it, it will discourage you and eventually make you want to stop drawing, so belive me, don't rush. 6th of all, please please please don't compare yourself to other artists. This will extremely discourage you and if you always want to be just like someone else, you'll never live up to that expectation. Instead, focus as improving as yourself and develop a style of your own. These are all things that I personally struggle on, so if you have anything to add, feel free to leave a comment. I hope that this brought some artist off the ground and encouraged them to try again
